TIMOTHY TALBERT JOINS MEDICAL STAFF AT NATIONAL PARK MEDICAL CENTER Cardiac Electrophysiologist Brings New Service Line to Hot Springs Area Hot Springs, AR (August 3, 2021) – National Park Medical Center welcomed Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Dr. Timothy Talbert, to their medical staff this week. Dr. Talbert brings Cardiac Electrophysiology, a specialty treating irregular heart rhythms, and an entirely new service line offering, to the Hot Springs area. “Dr. Talbert is an exciting addition to National Park Medical Center and the entire Hot Springs community, said NPMC’s CEO, Scott Smith. “His expertise makes NPMC one of only four facilities in Arkansas and the only facility between Texarkana and Little Rock where patients can receive cardiac electrophysiology treatment. This means more of the heart care our patients and neighbors need is right here closer to home.” Dr. Talbert has more than 25 years of experience in private practice in Chattanooga, Tennessee, performing simple and complex cardiac ablation, pacemaker implantation (new and replacement), defibrillators, loop recorders and cardioversion procedures. Dr. Talbert earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, and completed his residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center at Memphis. Dr. Talbert completed his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and his Electrophysiology Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Talbert is accepting new patients at Hot Springs Cardiology Associates, where he joins Drs. Eric Bowen, David Dobies, Moses Kelley and Greg St. John in practice.
