Hot Springs Photographer Elected Vice President of State Association Hot Springs Photographer Elected Vice President of the Arkansas Professional Photographers Association Hot Springs, AR July 29, 2021 - Rebecca Peterman of Rebecca Peterman Photography in Hot Springs, AR attended the annual Arkansas Professional Photographers Association (APPA) Conference where she was elected Vice President by the other professional photographers from the state for the 2021-2022 term. Peterman was elected after completing a term as Treasurer for the association from 2019-2021 and Secretary from 2018-2019. She previously served 5 years as a Regional Director. She accepted the Vice Presidential nomination with honor. “Being a life long learner and continuing to evolve as an artist is important to me,” says Peterman. “My involvement in professional organizations helps me achieve that goal and I am thankful to be able to serve them in return.” Peterman is also a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association, the Professional Photographers of America, and the Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce. She has operated a local home based studio for over 15 years and recently relocated to a commercial space at 801 Central Avenue, Suite 30 downtown in Spencer’s Corner. She specializes in family/children’s portraiture and also provides senior portraits, newborn portraits, pet portraits, headshots, personal branding, commercial photography, and fine art.
